Atharvaa To Share Screen With Nimisha Sajayan In Crime Thriller DNA

Atharvaa Murali has announced his next film titled DNA (2023), which is going to be directed by Nelson Venkatesan, best-known for helming Oru Naal Koothu (2016), Monster (2019) and Farhana (2023).

DNA is touted to be an action entertainer and will feature Malayalam actress Nimisha Sajayan as the female lead. The film is being bankrolled by Olympia Movies and the team released the title poster featuring the word DNA in bold red font with a white background. They have not confirmed the rest of the cast as of now. The film officially entered production today, followed by a pooja ceremony.

V J Joseph, a frequent collaborator of director Nelson will be handling the editing of the film. The rest of the technical team is expected to be announced in the coming days.

Atharvaa was last seen in the Disney + Hotstar original series Mathagam (2023), in which he appeared as a police officer. The series, which featured him alongside Manikandan, was a cat-and-mouse thriller. Nimisha Sajayan has also been busy with a handful of tamil projects including Chittha (2023) and upcoming Jigarthanda DoubleX (2023)
