Arun Vijay Goes Rustic And Ruthless In Bala's Vanangaan

The makers of the film Vanangaan recently released the teaser. The teaser introduces audiences to Arun Vijay playing a rustic and wild man who is extremely violent in his reactions. Filmed with a rawness that is the signature of director Bala, the teaser hints at an action-packed film. Glimpses of Mysskin, Samuthirakani and Roshni Prakash are also seen.

Vanangaan was initially supposed to star Suriya. The film was touted to be a reunion of the actor and director, as they had collaborated previously on Nanda (2001) and Pithamagan (2003). However, the star left the project after creative differences, post which Arun Vijay replaced him.

Vanangaan is written and directed by Bala and is backed by Suresh Kamatchi under the V House Productions and B Studios banners. GV Prakash Kumar handles the music while RB Gurudev handles the cinematography.
