Arulnithi Looks Menacing in The New Demonte Colony 2 Motion Poster

Ajay Gnanamuthu created history with his Tamil horror flick Demonte Colony (2015), which despite its low production cost went on to become a big success both critically and commercially. The makers are now ready with the next instalment of the quirky horror film. The sequel sees Gnanamuthu reunite with Arulnithi, who played the lead in the original. The actor Arulnithi has shared a first glimpse motion poster which features a satanic soundtrack accompanied by a slow reveal of a graveyard-like space filled with horror film artefacts, before revealing the hero who looks like a half-awake ghost and is holding onto some kind of gothic star totem. The tagline in the poster reads, “Vengeance of the Unholy and Darkness will Rule.”

Bankrolled by BTG Universal Films owned by Bobby Balachandran, the film co-stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Arun Pandian, Muthukumar and Sarjano Khalid. While the film has music by Sam CS, Harish Kanna has handled the cinematography. Demonte Colony 2 is expected to be a multilingual release and will be out later this year.
