Arjun Kapoor-Bhumi Pednekar’s The Ladykiller made less than 1 Lakh with a Budget of 45 Crores

Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar starrer The Ladykiller has failed miserably at the box office. The film which released on November 3 has recorded its lifetime collection to be less than a lakh, with a budget of 45 crores, as per reports.

According to a DNA report, the film was served incomplete to the audiences, with zero promotions by the makers and even the lead star cast of the film. The makers just shared the trailer of the film a few days prior to its theatrical release. Since the film has scheduled the date for its OTT premiere, an ideal gap of 4-6 weeks after its theatrical release, the makers hurriedly rushed for the release of the film in limited screens with no buzz created.

Directed by Ajay Bahl, The Ladykiller is a crime thriller, a story of lust, murder, trap and deceit. Pednekar’s character as shown in the trailer does leave you intrigued. The film earned Rs. 38000 on its opening day.
