Annapoorani Trailer: Nayanthara Wants to Become India’s Best Chef

The makers of the Nayanthara’s Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food recently released the film's official trailer. The film sees Nayanthara as an aspiring chef, whose dream is to become the ‘best chef of India’. Coming from a traditional Brahmin family, her parents are staunchly against her wishes as they are sceptical about her dreams. However, she hoodwinks them and joins a culinary school. The rest of the trailer hints at the various trials and tribulations she undergoes to fulfil her dreams.

The trailer also hints at a budding romance between Jai and Nayanthara, who reunite after the hit Raja Rani (2013). Sathyaraj also makes an appearance as a chef and we get a glimpse of Achyuth Kumar of Kantara (2022) and Vikram Vedha (2017) fame as Nayanthara’s traditional father.

Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food is directed by Nilesh Krishnaa and is backed by Zee Studios in association with Naad Studios and Trident Arts. The film stars Nayanthara, Jai, KS Ravikumar, Achyuth Kumar, Sathyaraj, Redin Kingsly, and Renuka. Sathyan Sooryan of Kaithi fame has handled the cinematography while Thaman S has composed the music. The film is all set to be released on December 1.
