Anil Kapoor Signs Nayak 2 with Director S Shankar, Deets Inside

Anil Kapoor who was last seen in Fighter directed by Siddharth Anand is rumored to have signed his next with director S Shankar. According to recent reports, Kapoor is set to team up with the award-winning filmmaker S Shankar for the sequel of their critically acclaimed film Nayak (2001). The speculations around Nayak 2 sparked ever since Kapoor was spotted in Mumbai with the director. The pictures of the two went viral on social media, which made fans excited about them teaming up yet again for a powerful narrative.

Kapoor-starrer was a remake of Shankar's 1999 Tamil-language film Mudhalvan, the film also starred Rani Mukerji, Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal, and Johnny Lever. The film became one of the most critically acclaimed and successful films of the year. Meanwhile, on the work front, while Shankar is gearing up for the release of his Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, Kapoor has Subedaar to his credit. The recently announced project is being helmed by Suresh Triveni.
