Ananya Panday plays a Movie Star in Bad Newz starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri

Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri’s upcoming rom-com Bad Newz will feature an exciting cameo. Ananya Panday, who was recently spotted at a shoot held at a five-star hotel in Juhu, will reportedly play a popular film star in Bad Newz, with her character being thronged by paparazzi and fans in the aforementioned scene. The actor is set to film additional scenes for the film on May 13. 

Directed by Anand Tiwari and also starring Ammy Virk, Bad Newz is a follow-up to the 2019 comedy Good Newwz, starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. Like its predecessor, Bad Newz also revolves around a couple’s unconventional journey with pregnancy. It is scheduled to release on July 19.

Meanwhile, Panday, who was last seen in Dream Girl 2 and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan in 2023, is all set to star alongside Akshay Kumar in Shankara. She is also gearing up for her leading role in the Amazon Prime Video series Call Me Bae, which is slated to premiere in the second half of the year.
