Ananya Panday and Vir Das Team Up for Call Me Bae

Ananya Panday and actor comedian Vir Das will be coming together for Panday’s upcoming streaming series Call Me Bae on Amazon Prime Video.

Call Me Bae’s official synopsis reads, “A billionaire fashionista, Bae, (played by Ananya Panday), is disowned by her ultra-rich family owing to a salacious scandal. She has to fend for herself, for the first time ever. On this journey, she overcomes stereotypes, negotiates around prejudices and discovers who she really is."

Directed by Collin D’Cunha, the series is created by Ishita Moitra and is written by Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair. The release date of the show is yet to be announced.

Panday is awaiting the release of her upcoming film Dream Girl 2 alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is scheduled to release on August 25.
