Alia Bhatt to team up with this actress in Aditya Chopra's spy universe

Alia Bhatt will no longer be saving the world solo in her first YRF spy universe film. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Bhatt will be joined by Bunty aur Babli 2 (2021) actress Sharvari Wagh in this first of its kind female-driven spy film. The two actors are scheduled to begin shooting for this movie by the middle of 2024. 

A source close to the development shared, “Aditya Chopra has identified the hidden talent of Sharvari and is betting big on her to be the next big star of the Hindi Film Industry, He will be reintroducing Sharvari in an action-packed avatar as a spy in the YRF Spy Universe." 

Several successful films like Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), and Pathaan have emerged from Chopra’s homegrown spy universe. In addition to Bhatt’s yet untitled film, reports say that two more films, War 2 and Tiger vs Pathaan are also under development.
