Akshay Oberoi starts filming for Illegal Season 3

After two successful seasons, shooting for Illegal Season 3 has begun in Mumbai and Delhi. Akshay Oberoi, who plays the character of Akshay Jaitley has started shooting for the show. He expressed his excitement about reprising his popular character and shared his thoughts on what he hopes to explore with the show’s third season.

Oberoi said, “I am thrilled to step into the shoes of my character once again and continue this exhilarating journey with Illegal. The opportunity to delve deeper into the complexities of the legal world and explore new dimensions of the character is incredibly fulfilling as an actor. The third season will also see Neha Sharma and Piyush Mishra reprise their roles as Niharika Singh and Janardhan Jaitely. Oberoi plays Piyush Mishra’s son on the show, while Sharma plays an idealistic lawyer at loggerheads with Janardhan, a powerful criminal lawyer and her former mentor. The show questions the methods used by lawyers to win legal battles while also delving into the complexities of their personal life. 

Illegal Season 3 is being directed by Sahil Raza and will stream on Voot Select.
