Akshay Kumar will share Screen Space with Nayanthara in Kannappa

Akshay Kumar has been roped in writer Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming film Kannappa helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh also stars Mohanlal and Mohan Babu in lead roles.

Kumar will make his debut in Telugu films with Kannappa. Confirming the news, Manchu wrote, “The Kanappa journey just got more thrilling as we welcome the Superstar Mr. Akshay Kumar to the Telugu Film Industry. Thrilled to announce his debut in Telugu cinema with Kannappa. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!

Kannappa also stars Nayanthara among others. The film marks Kumar’s third venture in South cinema after Shankar’s 2.0 (2018). Ashaant (1993), a bilingual film released in Kannada. Produced by 24 Frames Factory and Ava Entertainment, the film will feature music by Stephen Devassy and Manisharma, and is set to release in major Indian languages and English.
