Akshay Kumar starts filming for Sky Force in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh

Akshay Kumar has started filming for the aviation thriller Sky Force in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. Kumar was spotted shooting for the film at the PAC Battalion Ground in Sitapur. 

The location has been transformed into an air base since the film’s story is based on the Indian Air Force. Sky Force also reportedly stars Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur and newcomer Veer Pahariya. The film is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. 

Kumar’s last release OMG 2, co-starring Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam, crossed the 100 crore mark at the Indian box office despite intense competition from Gadar 2 and Rajinikanth’s Jailer. Kumar has The Great Indian Rescue alongside Parineeti Chopra, Jolly LLB 3, Welcome to the Jungle, Housefull 5 and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan lined up for release.
