Akshay Kumar drops new song Mahadeva from OMG 2, calls it his favourite

A week after OMG 2’s release, Akshay Kumar shared a new song from the film and called it his favourite composition. The song titled ‘Mahadeva’ is sung, composed, and written by Kashh. 

Sharing the song on his Instagram page Kumar wrote, “And it’s time for my favourite track. Let’s go #Mahadeva, Mahadeva, Mahadeva!!! Song out now. #OMG2 #OMG2InCinemasNow.” 

Though the movie portrayed Kumar as a messenger of Lord Shiva, the song sees the actor dressed as Lord Shiva as well, with a trident and the traditional clothes associated with the deity. Kumar can also be seen performing the ‘tandava’ dance and helping Pankaj Tripathi’s character Kanti Sharan Mudgal at various points in the film. 

OMG 2 was released in theatres on August 11. The film stars Kumar, Tripathi and Yami Gautam.
