Ainaa: Richa Chadha’s international debut launched at House of Lords

The film is directed by Markus Meedt who will make his own feature debut

Richa Chadha is all set to make her international debut with her film Ainaa. The film was launched at the House of Lords by the makers. R.t Hon. Stuart Andrew, M.P. The Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Department for Culture, Media and Sport announced the film alongside the lead cast, director, and producers of the film.

Talking about the film, Chadha said, “I'm excited to be working in a new part of the world, I like to experiment. They have put together an impressive crew of the best of talent from India and the UK. It's truly going to be a collaborative effort to embark on a film that deals with such an important subject."

The film is currently in pre-production and will start filming on June 2. Chadha will be seen opposite William Moseley who was also seen in The Chronicles of Narnia films and Margarita with a Straw (2014). Chadha also has Nurse Manjot, Fukrey 3, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi lined up.
