Ahead of Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan Talks about Film with Anurag Basu

In an exclusive interview with Film Companion, Kartik Aaryan who will next be seen in Chandu Champion, spoke about his upcoming project with filmmaker Anurag Basu. Apart from his transformation for Kabir Khan’s film, the actor also talked about going into a discomfort for good while prepping up for Basu’s film.

“The film with Basu sir is not exactly one would feel ki ye aane wala hain, (this is going to come) it's really again something out of my comfort zone. This is just after Bhool Bhulaiyaa so I think Bhool Bhulaiyaa is something which can be like my comfort zone but then again after Bhool Bhulaiyaa there’s Basu sir where I’m again going into some kind of discomfort in a good way which everyone will get to know after a while. Right now title keliye chal rahi hai baatein ki ye hoga title, vo hoga title, (discussions on the title are going on for now, this will be the title, that will be the title) all these things are coming out but nobody knows about the film ki exactly film mein kya hone wala hain (what is going to happen in the film) and basu sir has his own style, he has his own way of presenting his actors and giving them characters which are unique,” Aaryan shared.

Aaryan also has Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in his list of upcoming films. The film stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri apart from Aaryan as the lead. Chandu Champion which is scheduled to release on June 14 is based on a true story of Paralympics gold medallist Murlikant Petkar.
