Ahammed Khabeer’s Kerala Crime Files Season 2 Goes on Floors

Streaming in Malayalam had a resounding beginning with the success of the crime thriller series Kerala Crime Files (2023) which streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. The series directed by Ahammed Khabeer is returning for a second season and the director took to his social media handles to share the clapboard from the sets of the second season. The first season featured Aju Varghese, Lal, Devaki Rajendran and Ashwathy Manoharan in the lead. 

Ahammed Khabeer will also double up as the producer, backing the series under the banner of Monkey Business Productions. There have not been any updates on the cast for the new season and whether the actors from the previous season will be reprising their roles. The show is written by Bahul Ramesh and will feature music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, who also scored the music for the first season. Jithin Stanislaus cranks the camera, while Mahesh Bhuvanend handles the editing. The show will be released in the second half of 2024.
