The makers of actor Prabhas' Project K have been gearing up for their cinematic debut at this year's International Comic Con San Diego. Ahead of their event on July 20, the team recently released the first look of Deepika Padukone, and have further amped up the expectations by unveiling Prabhas’ look from the film.
In a heroic stance that's reminiscent of Iron Man, Prabhas stands on one knee as he punches through the ground. He wears golden armour and is unmasked, with his hair tied into a man bun. In the background, we have what seem to be abandoned vehicles and the film's signature orange background, giving off the dystopian nature of the film. Vyjayanthi Films, the production house behind the film, released the poster with the caption "The Hero rises. From now the game changes".
Project K will be the first Indian film to debut at the San Diego International Comic Con. Director Nag Ashwin and stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are set to attend the event where the title, a teaser and the official release date are to be revealed. The event will take place on July 20 and the Indian audience will get to watch the promos on July 21.
Project K is a dystopian sci-fi film written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music for the film while Djordje Stojiljkovic and Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao have handled the cinematography and editing, respectively.
