69th National Film Awards Announced: RRR, Pushpa, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Sardar Udham Win Big

69th National Film Awards Announced

The 69th National Film Awards were announced on Thursday at the National Media Center in New Delhi, with the press conference streaming live on the Press Information Bureau's YouTube channel.

RRR (2022), Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022)Pushpa: The Rise (2022) and Sardar Udham (2022) won the top prizes. In addition to winning the 'Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment' award, RRR also won awards for Action Direction (King Soloman), Best Choreography (Prem Rakshith), Best Special Effects (V Srinivas Mohan), Best Music Direction (MM Keeravani, Background Score) and Best Male Playback Singer (Kaalabhairava).

It is to be noted that Telugu cinema bagged 10 awards in the feature film categories and one in the writing category (Purushothama Charyulu, Best Film Critic)
