Vishnu Vishal's Ratsasan turned 5 on October 5th. Directed by Ram Kumar, the psychological thriller set benchmarks for serial killer films, both narratively and technically, and had a successful run at the box office. In the last five years, only very few Tamil thrillers like Ashok Selvan's Por Thozhil have managed to offer a chilling experience like Ratsasan.
Penning a heartfelt note, Vishnu Vishal wrote on Twitter, "#5YearsOfRatsasan The love is never ending...Next one loading soon with @dir_ramkumar What a brilliant film maker he is I thot the third one with him after Mundaasupatti and Ratsasan will be easier for me to perform as we understand each other better but he surprises me with his fresh vision every single time and pushes me beyond my capabilities Lucky to be working with such talented directors."
The actor also shared BTS pictures from his next film with Ram Kumar, which is tentatively titled VV21. The film is bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films. On the release front, Vishnu Vishal will be next seen in Aishwarya Rajinikanth's sports drama Lal Salaam, the psychological drama Mohandas and crime thriller Aaryan.
