Weekend Box Office: Mission Mangal Continues To Soar
Here’s how last week’s big releases continue to fare at the box office
No new films this week as both Independence Day releases continue their run at the box office. Mission Mangal, the story of ISRO's Mars Mission, gave Akshay Kumar the biggest opening of his career and continues to hold strong with a second-weekend collection of Rs35 crores, making for a total collection thus far of Rs160 crores. Based on the 2008 encounter case of the same name, Nikkhil Advani's Batla House remains steady with a second-weekend earning of Rs16.75 crores, and a total of Rs75.75 crores. Whether that still holds true after the release of this week's highly anticipated action epic Saaho remains to be seen.
