In a recent media interaction, Yami Gautam shared her working experience in her upcoming film Lost and also spoke about her character in the film. The film will release on Zee5 on February 16.

Talking about playing a journalist in the film, Gautam said, “Oh yes, what I had to do was step into the shoes of a crime journalist for one and a half month and it couldn’t get more exhausting. The scenes were physically and emotionally daunting.  Shooting in Kolkata was a great experience and dada was always there to pamper us with Kolkata delicacies.”

She further added,  “At the same time, it was really challenging, especially shooting at live locations. Those long hours battling the pandemic, the weather shift, shooting in hazy locations where even you wouldn't know where the camera is, but we have got to blend in with the real crowd. There were times where it was just me and dada walking in, and I was to look at the camera and blend in with ordinary people on the streets. One needs to have a lot of courage to do a job in the most righteous way possible. At the same time, you're an actor and you must find that balance. The hours were long but that's also a thrill that my job comes with and if you're doing it with the team that you love it becomes a memorable experience.”

Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Lost also stars Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee and Tushar Pandey. Shantanu Moitra has composed the soundtrack which has songs penned by Swanand Kirkire.
