Uunchai singer Nakash Aziz: Songs are integral for Sooraj Barjatya

Multilingual singer-composer Nakash Aziz who sung “Keti Ko” in Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film Uunchai said the song was designed as a celebration of friendship by Amit Trivedi.

Talking about “Keti Ko”, Aziz said, "We played around with new beats and it's very different from populist mainstream sounds." He added, "Sooraj Barjatya ji even came to the studio when we were recording. For him, songs are an integral part of the storytelling process. He is obviously a great director, who likes to be a part of the entire process. Personally, it was such a memorable experience for me."

Aziz is known for chartbusters such as “Jabra Fan” (Fan, 2015), “Saree Ke Fall Sa” (R Rajkumar, 2013), “Selfie Le Le Re” (Bajrangi Bhaijaan, 2016) among several others.

Apart from “Keti Ko”, his recent hits include “Meri Jaan” from the Karthi-starrer Sardar (2022) and “Tara Na Tara” from the Telugu movie Krishna Vrinda Vihari (2022).
