Teaser Of Por Thozhil Promises A Thrilling Investigative Drama

The teaser of the Tamil investigative thriller Por Thozhil is out. The promo, which runs just below 90 seconds, begins with a police officer discovering a dead body and we are eventually introduced to the lead characters played by Ashok Selvan and Sarath Kumar, with the latter comparing murdering to an addiction like smoking.

The teaser offers glimpses of an unknown person lurking in the dark, smashing a body with a boulder and cadevers being examined. Nikhila Vimal makes a brief appearance in the promo, which sets the stage and mood right for a thrilling investigative drama. The teaser ends with a brief exchange between the leads. When Ashok's character raises a suspicion whether the killer would be venturing outside that night, Sarath Kumar replies, "He'll definitely come. The question is whether he'll be caught by us or not."

The film, directed by Vignesh Raja, is a co-production between E4 Experiments, Eprius Studio and Applause Entertainment. Vignesh co-wrote the film with Alfred Prakash. The film has music by Jakes Bejoy while Kalaiselvan Sivaji is the cinematographer.

Por Thozhil is set to release in theatres on June 9.
