Sonali Kulkarni plays a Politician in Streaming show Dharavi Bank

Sonali Kulkarni who will next be seen in streaming series Dharavi Bank, will be playing the Cheif Minister Janvi Surve in the upcoming series.

Talking about her role in the series she said, "My personality has always been pleasant, fun, and honest type. Hence it was quite challenging for me to play the role of Janvi Surve. My character in Dharavi Bank is that of an egoistic, hard-hearted and manipulative woman who is completely opposite to my real nature. I enjoy processes that test my versatility as an actor."

Kulkarni is best known for her performances in movies like Dil Chahta Hai (2001) and Taxi No 9211 (2006).

Dharavi Bank also stars Suniel Shetty as Thalaivan, the don of Dharavi along with actors like Luke Kenny, Freddy Daruwala, Shanti Priya, Santosh Juvekar, Nagesh Bhosle, Siddharth Menon, Hitesh Bhojraj, Samiksha Batnagar, Rohit Pathak, Jaywant Wadkar, Chinmay Mandlekar, Bhawna Rao, Shruti Srivastava, Sandhya Shetty, Pavitra Sarkar and Vamsi Krishna. Vivek Oberoi will be seen in the role of JCP Jayant Gavaskar.

The series, produced by Zee Studios, will stream on MX Player from November 19.
