Sara Ali Khan to play Freedom Fighter in Ae Watan Mere Watan

Sara Ali Khan will be seen in a streaming movie titled Ae Watan Mere Watan. The shooting of the film will begin towards the end of this month.

Varun Dhawan made the announcement on Instagram by posting a video where he urged viewers to watch Khan playing a determined and brave freedom fighter in the fictional tale set against the backdrop of the ‘Quit India Movement in 1942’ in her next Ae Watan Mere Watan.

Ae Watan Mere Watan is a thriller drama inspired by true events. It is written by Darab Farooqui and Kannan Iyer. Produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta and co-produced by Somen Mishra. The film is directed by Iyer. The release date of Ae Watan Mere Watan is yet to be finalised and it will be available on Amazon Prime Video.
