Samantha Ruth Prabhu Shares BTS Picture from Citadel Set

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently got injured on the sets of her upcoming project Citadel. While shooting one of the sequences for the action spy thriller, Prabhu got bruised and the actress shared the picture on the story section of her Instagram handle, the caption read, “Perks of action.”

Prabhu’s character in the upcoming project requires her to do extensive stunt sequences. She will be seen in the Indian version of the International action show produced by the Russo Brothers. She will be seen teaming up with Varun Dhawan in the series. The series will be helmed by the directors Raj and DK.

Sharing her excitement on joining the show, Prabhu had recently said, “When Prime Video and Raj & DK approached me with this project, I decided to take it up in a heartbeat! After working with this team on The Family Man, it is a homecoming for me. The Citadel universe, the interconnected storylines between the productions across the globe, and most importantly, the script of the Indian installment really excited me. I am thrilled to be a part of this brilliant universe conceptualised by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO. I am also looking forward to be working with Varun for the first time, on this project. He is someone who is full of life and cheer when you’re around him.”

The international show Citadel features Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci and will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 28.
