Rakulpreet Singh on Chhatriwali: I am finally getting to headline a film

Rakulpreet Singh dropped the poster of her upcoming film Chhatriwali on her Instagram handle. The film focuses on the taboo subject of male contraceptives and safe sex.

Talking about the film in a media interview she said, "For me, every film of mine has been special but Chhatriwali is extra special for many reasons. After so many years in the industry, I am finally getting to headline a film and what better than an entertaining film with a thought-provoking social message."

Singh is known for films like Cuttputlii (2022), Doctor G (2022), Runway 34 (2022) and Thank God (2022) to name a few. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Chhatriwali features Singh and Sumeet Vyas. It will be released soon on ZEE5.
