Rajinikanth to Kantara’s Rishab Shetty: Hats off to you

The film also stars Sapthami Gowda, Pramod Shetty and Kishore in important role

Rajinikanth recently praised director Rishab Shetty's Kannada film Kantara on Twitter. “‘The unknown is more than the known’ — no one could have said this better in cinema than Hombale Films' Kantara. You gave me goosebumps Rishab, hats off to you as a writer, director and actor. Congrats to the whole cast and crew of this masterpiece in Indian cinema," wrote the legendary actor.

According to Bollywood Hungama report, on the International front, Kantara’s Kannada version has earned more than 1 million in North America, and 200 K AUD in Australia's Box Office. Kantara had a Rs 1.27 crore opening on the first day in the Hindi market. Its opening weekend collection was Rs 7.52 crore and its lifetime collection is Rs 29.10 crore. The worldwide collection for the film is yet to be out.

Written and directed by Shetty, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the film stars Shetty alongside Kishore, Sapthami Gowda Achyuth Kumar and Pramod Shetty in pivotal role.
