Priyanshu Chatterjee on Fireflies: It’s got a nice family vibe

In a recent interview, Priyanshu Chatterjee spoke about his streaming show Fireflies: Parth Aur Jugnu, which released on May 5. The fantasy series stars Madhoo Shah, Chatterjee, Meet Mukhi, Aekam Binjwe, Varun Kapoor, Luke Kenny, Akshat Singh, Zoya Afroz in pivotal roles.

Talking about the series, Chatterjee said, “It's got a very nice family vibe to it, it talks about the Indian roots, folklore, and mythology that I don’t see as much around. It’s something that is slowly getting lost, and I hope that’s not the case because there's so much learning that can come from it. Personally, that’s a huge distinguishing factor that Fireflies has.”

The actor also spoke about the evolvement of streaming platform over the years,

“Yes, I feel the OTT space is ever evolving now and there is scope for all kinds of content, new makers, new actors, new content and fresh stream of thought. And, that’s going to benefit the makers, actors, technicians, and the end consumer, so yes looking forward to exciting new content on OTT.
