Ponniyin Selvan 2 Promo: Trisha’s Multiple Looks as Kundavai is Winning Hearts

In the lead-up to the widely anticipated sequel of Ponniyin Selvan, the makers have dropped a promotional video announcing that the film’s first song will be released soon. The video features Trisha Krishnan’s multiple looks as Princess Kundavai, dressed in silk outfits and antiquated temple jewellery. While she is seen in her trademark top bun hairstyle in some of the images, the video also consists of other tested looks. 

Fans of the first part have been eagerly waiting to witness the love blossom between Kundavai and Vandiyathevan, played by Karthi. According to reports, the first single, composed by AR Rahman, is expected to be a love track that would illustrate the romance between these characters.

The first instalment of the franchise was a massive box office success, clocking over 500 crores at the global box office. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the two-part film series is based on the beloved novel of the same name written by Kalki Krishnamurthy. Ponniyin Selvan 2 is slated to hit the screens on April 28th.
