'Naa Ready' From Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo To Be Out On This Date

Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj took to Twitter on Friday to announce that the first single from his next, Leo, will be released on June 22, on the occasion of the film's lead actor Vijay's birthday. The song, titled 'Naan Ready', is expected to be sung by Vijay himself, although the makers haven't confirmed it yet. The single launch announcement was made along with a poster, featuring Vijay, holding a gun in his hand and a cigar in his mouth, surrounded by people holding glasses.

Leo marks the second collaboration between Lokesh and Vijay post their highly successful action drama, Master (2021). Although the makers haven't announced it officially yet, Leo is believed to set in the same universe as the director's hit action thrillers, Kaithi (2019) and Vikram (2022), popularly dubbed as a Lokesh Cinematic Universe, by cinephiles.

Leo features a massive ensemble cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Trisha and Priya Anand, to name a few. The film, bankrolled by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, is set to release in theatres on October 19, coinciding with Poojai holidays.
