Meet Vikram's Ferocious Protagonist From Pa Ranjith's Thangalaan

Chiyaan Vikram is the face of experimentation when it comes to Tamil cinema's hard-hitting genre films, and his upcoming film Thangalaan with Pa Ranjith is no exception. Marking the ace actor's birthday on Monday, makers of the film released a making video from the film detailing the gritty transformation of the actor for the role.

"Presenting you a slice of flesh, a grand making visual video of Thangalaan as our humble tribute to Chiyaan," Ranjith tweeted, along with a new poster from the film. The almost 2-minute video follows the efforts of the crew and cast in transforming the actor into a rugged sun-burnt mine worker of the Kolar Gold Fields, who rides on a horse to wage war on oppressors.

The film also co-stars Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and has music by GV Prakash.
