FC Front Row: Dimple’s Character in Pathaan was written for Kumud Mishra says Siddharth Anand

During the FC Front Row session, director Siddharth Anand revealed that Dimple Kapadia’s character in Pathaan where she plays Shah Rukh Khan’s mentor and the chief of the department, was earlier written for actor Kumud Mishra.

Talking about the same Anand said, “Dimple Kapadia's role was previously written for Kumud Mishra”, when asked, when was the decision changed? the director responded, “just before the call was made to him (Mishra).”

Pathaan starring Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana and Salman Khan in a cameo appearance released in theatres on January 25.
