Dulquer Salmaan will next be seen in King Of Kotha, a stylish action drama, which was recently wrapped up. And Anikha Surendran, who plays an important role in the gangster drama, has confirmed that KOK would be an out-an-out mass entertainer. “It is evident from the title King of Kotha that it is going to be a mass film. It will meet the expectations of the audience,” the actress said during a press conference for her new film Oh My Darling.
Following the film’s wrap, Dulquer posted a fun behind-the-scenes video on Instagram. In the video, the actor is seen saying, “Finish me if you can,” as the makers shout “pack up” in the background and the camera zooms out to show the entire crew on the set. Apart from Dulquer and Anikha, the film stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nyla Usha and Gokuul Suresh in pivotal roles. Helmed by debutant Abhilash Joshy, the script is penned by Abhilas N Chandran.
KOK is billed as the most expensive project in Dulquer’s career so far and is expected to get a pan-Indian release in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi. Jakes Bejoy and Shaan Rahman have composed the film’s score.
