Asif Ali And Sunny Wayne Face Off In The Stylish Kasargold Trailer 

Asif Ali will be seen next in Kasargold (2023) directed by Mridul Nair of Btech (2018) fame. The team unveiled the trailer for the film recently and features Asif Ali taking on Sunny Wayne against the backdrop of gold smuggling gangs based out of Kasargod in Kerala.

The film promises to be an acid dripped adventure about two gold smugglers, who are on the lookout for a missing package that can alter their lives forever. Kasargold is also being touted to be an ensemble stoner comedy featuring Sunny Wayne, Vinayakan and Malavika Sreenath among a host of major character actors. The music in the promo is especially noteworthy and supplements the slick action sequences glimpsed.

The film is based on a screenplay co-written by Mridul Nair and Sajimon Prabhakar.

Kasargold is bankrolled by Yoodlee Films and Mukhari Entertainments and is the major Malayalam release of the month of september. The film features a musical score by Thallumaala (2022) fame Vishnu Vijay while the camerawork is handled by Jebin Jacob. The editing for the film is handled by Manoj Kannoth and the film marks the second collaboration between Asif Ali and Mridul Nair after Btech. Kasargold is all set to release on September 15.
