Ashiq Abu Turns Cinematographer with Mathew Thomas’ Lovely

Ashiq Abu shared the news of his upcoming film Lovely. The film went on floors in Thodupuzha. The ace producer-director who is credited with ushering in a new wave of Malayalam cinema would be starting his journey as a cinematographer with this film. On Wednesday, he shared the title of the film on Instagram with the caption “'Lovely' Rolling Today”.

Mathew Thomas (of Kumbalangi Nights (2019) fame) is to star in Lovely which is produced by Saranya and Dr Amar Ramachandran. It is written and directed by Dileesh Karunakaran who co-wrote scripts for films like Mayaanadhi (2017) and Salt N Pepper (2011), which were directed by Ashiq Abu. Vishnu Vijay is composing the music while Kiran Das is handling the editing.
