Ajay Devgn Announces his next with Rohit Shetty in the new year

Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty have started prepping for the third installment of the Singham franchise titled Singham Again.

Devgn made the announcement on his Instagram handle and shared a photo of him with Shetty, "Made a good start to the New Year with @itsrohitshetty's narration of Singham Again. The script I heard is fire. God willing this will be our 11th blockbuster", read Devgn’s caption.

The director commented on Devgn’s post, "Ab tak Imaandaari aur Mehnat ke saath kaam kiya hai... is baar andar Aag bhi hai".

The first installment of Shetty’s cop universe Singham released in 2011 was a remake of the 2010 Tamil film of the same title by Hari, the film stars Devgn in the lead role as a police officer named Bajirao Singham alongside Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj who reprises his role as in the original.

Following the film's success, Devgn and Shetty collaborated on the sequel Singham Returns which was released in 2014.
