Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Presence at the Cannes Film Festival 2023 ,says Aaradhya loves the vibe

In conversation with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Cannes Film Festival, the actress who was applauded for her performance in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 2 talked about the recognition Indian Cinema has received globally with Oscar winning films RRR (2022) and The Elephant Whisperers.

Talking about her daughter and Cannes companion Aaradhya Bachchan and how has been her experience at the film festival she said, “It's familiar to her, she knows everybody here, it's like reuniting with friends and coming back to Cannes and it's like an experience that is so familiar to her. She loves that place, she loves the vibe, she gets that fact that this is really a film festival that about the world of cinema, that's the exchange of conversation that you would have with your daughter that there is that respect, that recognition of this amazing world of cinema and I'm sure it's all getting soaked in.”

Rai walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival wearing a Sophie Couture creation with lightweight aluminium details, shimmering embellishments and a signature cinched corset.
