Aayirathonnu Nunakal Trailer: A Game of Dares Goes Wrong in This SonyLIV Film

The makers of the mystery thriller Aayirathilonnu Nunakal recently released the trailer of the film. The Thamar directorial is all set to stream on SonyLIV from August 18. The film is about a couple, who after losing their apartment to a fire, move into a friend’s mansion. During a party with a group of friends, a game of dares escalates, revealing their deepest and darkest secrets.

The trailer begins with a mirror shot of two kids sitting at the back of a car. There is no indication as to who the kids are as they make only one more appearance. Death looms throughout the trailer. We then move to the event, the game of dares which brings out the worst in everyone. The trailer intercuts with scenes outside the mansion. There are fights, arguments, snide remarks, breakdowns, and doubt. The tagline of the film reads ‘Based on true lies’.

Aayirathilonnu Nunakal is directed by Thamar who has co-written the film along with Hashim Sulaiman. Backed by Salim Ahamed, the film stars Vishnu Agasthya, Shamla Hamza, Niiniin Kassim, Zhinz Shan, Noufal Rahman, Vidhya Vijaykumar, and Sooraj K Nambiar. Yaksan Garry Perreira and Neha Nair provide the music while Jithin Stanislaus and Nishadh Yousuf handle the cinematography and editing respectively. The film stream on SonyLIV from August 18.
