In a media interaction, Producer and director Aanand L Rai opened up on the films he produced in 2022 starting with Good Luck Jerry and Atrangi Re. His upcoming film An Action Hero starring Ayushmann Khurrana is an action thriller, a genre that Rai will venture into for the first time
Speaking about the same, he shared, "We have done Horror, we've done drama, we've done comedy and we always had plans to make an action movie. Now with An Action Hero, it's all coming together."
Rai is best known for films like Ranjhanaa (2013), Tumbbad (2018) and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017) to name a few. Directed by Anirudh Iyer, An Action Hero is scheduled to release on December 2, starring Khuranna and Jaideep Ahlawat as leads.
