Jude Anthany Joseph's 2018 details the horrors of the 2018 Kerala floods and how people came together to save each other. The people in focus are an actor, a person going through a divorce, a man who left the army because of fear and a few others. We are shown glimpses of a worker requesting a water bottle and a journalist fighting for the needy. And there is a solution for this: The Idukki dam is opened after 26 years. However, heavy rainfall and the excessive overflow through the shutters cause a huge flood in Kerala.

Based on true events, the film follows the lives of people who managed to fight through and survive the flood. 2018 co-stars Tovino Thomas, Kunchako Boban, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Aparna Balamurali. Produced by Kavya Film Company and PK Prime Production, the film has music by Nobin Paul. While Chaman Chakko has edited the film, Akhil George has cranked the camera.
