Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, however, has been tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here’s a list of the most-viewed shows and movies from the Indian streaming space during the week of September 12th, 2022 – September 18th, 2022. The numbers are estimates based only within India. This list does not include any streaming releases from the South.

1. Koffee With Karan — Disney+ Hotstar

Views (million): 8.9

The sixth episode of the seventh season of the talk show Koffee With Karan had Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan on the hot seat.

The crime drama series traces one of India’s biggest medical entrance examination scams. It stars Gulshan Devaiah, Gauhar Khan and Pawan Malhotra.

5. Jogi — Netflix

Views (million): 4.0

Ali Abbas Zafar’s drama is set during the 1984 riots in Delhi and stars Diljit Dosanjh, Kumud Mishra and Zeeshan Ayyub.
