These days it feels like a real challenge to keep up with what's dropping when on which platform with new show announcements popping up all the time. That said, May promises to be yet another exciting month in the world of streaming with a wide range of stories. From an SNL reunion, to the return of Abhay Deol, to more Fleabag, to a new show from Nagesh Kukunoor, here are our picks of what's releasing this month across platforms.
When: May 31st
The first Netflix Original film to come out of India (previous straight-to-Netflix features were acquired, not produced by the streaming giant) sees the triumphant return of Abhay Deol's across Mithila Palkar and Vijay Raaz. The film reportedly tells the story of a girl who teams up with a conman to recover her stolen car from a gangster.

An SNL reunion masquerading as a Netflix Original film, Wine Country is directed by the one and only Amy Poehler and also stars Maya Rudolph, Tina Fey and Paula Pell among others. Where do I sign?

The likeable comedian returns with his popular show deep-diving into under-discussed topics and adding to the 'providing news through comedy' genre that's currently at its peak in the US.

The latest from Ava DuVernay. Need I say more? The four-part limited series tells of the true story of the Central Park five, referring to the famous case of five black teenagers who were convicted of a rape they did not commit.

The second season of Phoebe Waller-Bridges' beloved comedy show finally finds its way to a streaming platform. Season 2 takes place a year after last season's series of disasters, and this time around she finds herself falling for a priest and wrestling with faith.
