Presented by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Ekta Kapoor, the first look of Laila Majnu is more Ali than Kapoor: a couple in the mountains, going a little wild. Kapoor and Ali’s partnership is not entirely surprising. Time and again, Ali’s movies have riffed on the folk love stories of Heer Ranjha, Laila Majnu. The movie will be directed by Sajid Ali. With the cast yet to be announced, Laila Majnju is expected to release on May 4, 2018.
