Your all-time dream team

For Test – Sehwag, G Smith, Lara, Sachin, S Smith, Kallis, Sangakkara, Akram, Warne, Saqlain, Anderson.

ODI – Gilchrist, Sachin, Ponting, Kohli, De Villiers, Shakib, Stokes, Bevan, Warne, McGrath, Malinga.

T20 – Gayle, Rohit, Kohli, Williamson, De Villiers, Watson, Russell, Afridi, Narine, Bumrah, Starc.

What is your best memory of playing cricket?

There are two innings — a 60 odd not out for Lara XI against a Sachin XI friendly at Vijay Sports grounds in Vivekananda Park (in Kolkata) and a 42 not out and 3 wickets in an inter-departmental match at Presidency College Grounds.

Your first stadium experience 

The Hero Cup Final against West Indies at Eden in 1993 where  Kumble got a 6 for 12, Kapil picked up two wickets and Sachin dismissed Lara.

If you have to pick one cricket match that you want to relive all over again, which one would that be?

With the same result, Natwest Trophy final for ODI and the 2001 India-Australia in Kolkata for Test.

With a different result, 2003 World Cup final and 2019 World Cup semi for ODI. And the match against Pakistan in Chennai and the one versus West Indies in Barbados in Test.

Who has a good chance of winning the IPL this year? 

Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will be my picks for the play offs.
