Writer-director Vivek Athreya's 2019 Telugu film Brochevarevarura starring Sree Vishnu, Nivetha Thomas, Satyadev and Priyadarshi is a crime caper which follows two parallel tales that eventually intersect. On one side, there's Rahul, Rakesh and Rambabu (known as the 3 R's), and Mithra— all students in the same college. And on the other side, there's wannabe writer-director Vishal who convinces a film star, Shalini to act in his film. The two groups come together in a series of bizarre circumstances involving a failed kidnapping attempt. From producer Manyam Vijaya Kumar under Manyam Productions and distributor Suresh Productions, the film shines in its unpredictability, creating a crackling screenplay that only gets better as it progresses.
