Theatrical

Nayattu (Malayalam)

When: April 8th 

Martin Prakkat’s fourth film and his first after the commercial and critically acclaimed Charlie features a stellar cast of Kunchacko Boban, Nimisha Sajayan and Joju George.

Chathur Mukham (Malayalam)

When: April 8th 

A horror thriller starring Manju Warrier.

Karnan (Tamil)

When: April 9th

The highly anticipated Dhanush-Mari Selvaraj carries huge expectations and is one of the biggest releases of the year so far. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, who made Dhanush’s recent Asuran (directed by Vetrimaaran) the film’s music is by Santosh Narayanan, in his second collaboration with Mari Selvaraj.

Vakeel Saab (Telugu)

When: April 9th

Pawan Kalyan, Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla, and Prakash Raj star in this Telugu remake of Pink. 

Streaming

The Big Bull (Hindi)

When: April 8th 

Where: Disney+ Hotstar

Another Harshad Mehta story after last year’s Scam 1992, this one starring Abhishek Bachchan in a biopic based on the famed scamster who decides to invest in and then manipulate the stock market to make great profits.

Anbirkiniyal (Tamil)

When: April 4th 

Where: Amazon Prime Video

An ordinary suburban girl suddenly disappears, leaving her loved ones in a desperate search as she must face the ultimate battle – the one for her life, in the official Tamil remake of the Malayalam film Helen.

Joji (Malayalam)

When: April 7th 

Where: Amazon Prime Video

Dileesh Pothen’s third directorial venture after Maheshinte Prathikaaram and Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyu is his take on William Shakespeare’s Macbeth starring Fahadh Faasil.

Hello Charlie (Hindi)
