Nna Thaan Case Kodu (Malayalam)

Starring Kunchacko Boban and Gayathrie, this satirical courtroom drama directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, traces the story of a reformed thief who fights for justice, defending himself against a Minister. 

Laal Singh Chaddha (Hindi)

When: 11 Aug

An official remake of the 1994 classic Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha's story unfolds in India and explores several historical events and adventures. The film stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh. 

Raksha Bandhan (Hindi)

When: 11 Aug

Raksha Bandhan revolves around a brother and his four sisters. Celebrating their bond, the film explores family values, love, and sacrifice. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, and Deepika Khanna.

Dharmajuddha (Bengali)

As a religious riot erupts in the small town of Ismailpur, four rivals take shelter in an old woman's home. But what happens when a conflict breaks out between the four? The film is directed by Raj Chakraborty and stars Soham Chakraborty, Ritwick Chakraborty, and Subhasree Ganguly.

Bhotbhoti (Bengali)

Bhotbhoti grows up hearing the story of mermaids and underwater life. He starts believing in them and searches for them in the Ganges. One day, his fantasy comes true when he finds a mermaid. But is she really a mermaid? This fantasy film is directed by Tathagata Mukherjee and stars Rishav Basu, Bibriti Chatterjee, and Debleena Dutta. 

Byomkesh Hotyamancha (Bengali)

Set in the 1970s, during the Naxalite period of Bengal, Byomkesh Bakshi witnesses a crime that takes place in the center of a theater stage and gets caught up in a story of revenge. 

Viruman (Tamil)

When: 12 Aug

Viruman (Karthi), a brawny village do-gooder locks horns with Prakash Raj, an influential figure in the village. Directed by Muthaiya, the film marks the debut of veteran filmmaker Shankar's daughter Aditi Shankar, who plays Karthi's romantic interest. 

Thallumaala (Malayalam)

When: 12 Aug

Thallumaala, helmed by Khalid Rahman, follows the life of Wazim (Tovino Thomas) who is ready to get married. However, a series of funny events spoil his plans. He also meets Beepaathu (Kalyani Priyadarshan), a popular vlogger, and tries to win her heart. 

Gaalipata 2 (Kannada)

When: 12 Aug

Several years after college, three friends come together to visit their teacher Kishore Kumar, who has fallen ill. This in turn offers them a second chance to fix their love lives. Directed by Yogaraj Bhat, the film stars Ganesh, Diganth Manchale, Pawan Kumar, and Anant Nag.  

Macherla Niyojakavargam (Telugu)

When: 12 Aug

Nithin plays an IAS officer of the Macherla area who locks horns with a local MLA, played by Samuthirakani. This rural action entertainer, directed by MS Raja Shekhar Reddy, features Krithi Shetty as the female lead.

Kadamaiyai Sei (Tamil)

When: 12 Aug

When a watchman is met with an accident, he is severely injured, resulting in a brain disease called stooper. Kadamaiyai Sei then explores how he battles the disease and takes revenge on his enemies. 

Agent (Telugu)

When: 12 Aug

In this spy thriller directed by Surender Reddy, Akhil Akkineni plays a notorious patriot and Mammootty plays Mahadev, the head of the national security agency.

Ravi Bopanna (Kannada)

When: 12 Aug

Ravi Bopanna is a remake of the 2018 Malayalam film Joseph. It is centered around a retired cop who investigates an accident involving his ex-wife and sets out to explore the real truth behind it. The film stars V Ravichandran, Kiccha Sudeep, and Kavya Shetty in the lead roles. 

Abbara (Kannada)

When: 12 Aug

When his father is killed, the hero (Prajwal Devaraj) seeks revenge against the killer who is a powerful person in society. He goes ahead to change his look to succeed in his plan. Directed by K Ram Narayan, the film also stars Rajshri Ponnappa and Lekha Chandra. 

Karthikeya 2 (Telugu)

When: 13 Aug

A sequel to the 2014 mystery thriller, Karthikeya 2 traces the adventures of Karthikeya in his journey to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Indian belief system and Lord Krishna. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film features Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran in important roles.
