Little Miss Rawther (Malayalam)

Little Miss Rawther is a romantic comedy that features Gouri G Kishan and Shersha Sherief in the lead. The film is about a short woman who falls in love with a tall guy and is constantly reminded of their physical differences at each stage of their relationship. This romcom directed by Vishnu Dev has a musical score by Govind Vasantha.

A Man (Japanese)

This thriller tells the story of a lawyer who is hired by a deceased man’s wife to investigate the past of her husband. The film starring Satoshi Tsumabuki, Sakura Ando and Masataka Kubota in the lead roles is directed by Kei Ishikawa.

Tantiram Chapter 1: Tales of Shivakashi (Telugu)

When: October 12

This supernatural thriller deals with the life of a loner, who struggles to interact with women due to a traumatic childhood incident involving his mother. However, his life changes when he gets married and faces a crisis with a paranormal threat that can destroy his newfound peace. The film directed by Muthyala Meher Deepak stars Sukanya Gadavir, Srikanth Gurram and Priyanka Sharma.

Intolerance (Japanese)

When:  October 12

A father trying to save the honour of his dead daughter who was caught shoplifting is the central theme of this Japanese awards circuit favourite. The film stars Arata Furuta, Tori Matsuzaka and Tomoko Tabata in prominent roles. It is directed by Keisuke Yoshida.

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie (English)

This animated feature tells the story of an asteroid that gives a rare set of super powers to PAW Patrol pups. However, the team is forced to take on an evil mad scientist who also got his power from the same destroyed asteroid. The film directed by Carl Brunker features voice performances by Mckenna Grace, Taraji P Henson, Kim Kardashian, Marsal Martin and Lil Rey Howery in the lead.

Pratha (Odia)

A series of murders involving young women takes place in a traditionally conservative village and the people try to pin the murders on superstitious beliefs, until a street performer takes it upon himself to investigate the motive behind the case. The film directed by K Muralikrishan stars Simaran Kaur,  Yash Ahlawat and Sheetal Patra in the lead.

Imbam (Malayalam)

When: October 13 

A cartoonist and his relationship with the remaining few members of an old publication house forms the setting for this romantic drama. The film will narrate a story of politics, nostalgia and the history of a slowly dying industry in the backdrop of a love story between a cartoonist and a proofreader. Directed by debutant Sreejith Chandran, Imbam features Deepak Parombol, Meera Vasudevan, Lalu Alex and Darshana Sudharshan in the lead.

Dumb Money (English)

When: October 13

This modern day tale of David and Goliath follows the exploits of a YouTuber in bringing down a Wall Street-backed hedge fund corporation, who also wants to promote the selling of GameStop, a the mall video game store into the world's hottest company. Dumb Money features Paul Dano, Pete Davidson, Seth Rogen, Shailene Woodley and America Ferrera in the lead and is directed by I Tonya (2017) fame director Craig Gillespie.

Chidiyan Da Chamba (Punjabi)

When: October 13 

Chidiyan Da Chamba is a road movie featuring a group of female rebels who take it upon themselves to bring the system down. This film based on some real events from Punjab’s revolutionary history is set within the confines of a van. Directed by Prem Singh Sidhu, this action film features Amyra Dastur, Neha Pawar and Sanju Solanki in prominent roles.

Rani Chithira Marthanda (Malayalam)

This feel good entertainer is set against a unique father-son bond and also involves elements of romance and heartbreak. The film directed by Pinku Peter features Kottayam Nazeer, Josekutty Jacob and Keerthana Sreekumar in the lead roles.

This road movie is about a team of four rebellious women who travel to the highest motorable pass in the world on their bikes on a journey of self-discovery. Dhak Dhak stars Fathima Sana Shaik, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza and Sanjana Sanghi in the lead cast and is directed by Tarum Dudeja.

Coat (Hindi)

A family belonging to the lowered caste is faced with a challenge when the son yearns to possess the expensive coat of a foreigner who gets good treatment from everyone. Directed by Akshay Ditti, the film stars Sanjay Mishra, Vivaan Shah and Sonal Jha in leading roles.

Kudru (Kannada)

What happens when a random SMS threatens to challenge the religious harmony and cultural unity in a campus? Also will a wife waiting for the release of her husband in Saudi Arabia prison be able to free him of his charges in an environment of religious disharmony? Kudru deals with these two plot lines and tells the story of a community on the brink of violent religious breakdown. The film directed by Bhaskar Naik features Priya Hegde, Harshith Shetty, Godwin Sparkle and Farhan Udupi in prominent roles.

How Is That For A Monday (English)

The film is a gangster drama set around the lives of a group of people who are caught running against the clock to return money to a dangerous crime ring. The film unfolds on a crazy Monday when human follies like greed, stupidity, bigotry and memories clash. Directed by Sripal Sharma, the film stars a big cast of Indian and foreign actors including Kaushik Ghantasala, Keegan Guy, Megan Barlow, Satya Yamini and Elester Latham among others.

Guthlee Ladoo (Hindi)

This unique tale of determination and inspiration deals with a school boy from a lowered caste, who is denied equal opportunities by his school and society. However, his friendship with the school principal, who spots his true potential, helps the boy attain his goals in life. The film directed by Ishrat Khan features Dhanay Sheth, Kanchan Pagare and Sanjay Mishra in lead roles.

White Punjab (Punjabi)

A group of warring factions in Punjab’s criminal underworld is facing the heat as the society turns super violent for political and cultural reasons.  A group of youngsters takes it upon themselves to mend the damage done by political parties in the state. The film stars Kartar Cheema, Dakssh Ajit Singh, Rabbi Kandola and Inderjeet Singh, and is directed by Gabbar Sangrur.
