Chaver (Malayalam)

Chaver is about a gang on the run who resort to violence in order to survive the night. This action flick stars Kunchako Boban, Anthony Pepe and Arjun Ashokan, and is directed by Tinu Pappachan known for his high-octane action films like Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil (2018) and Ajagajantharam (2021).

Mad (Telugu)

When:  October 6

This campus entertainer is based on the lives of few college students who spend their time pranking others and creating headaches for the authorities. The film stars Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shoban, Ram Nithin, Gouri Priya and Ananthika in the lead roles. Mad is directed by Kalyan Shankar.

The Exorcist: Believer (English)

This continuation of the famous Exorcist franchise will see the story of a single father, who realizes that his teenage daughter and best friend are no longer behaving normally after an incident in the woods. He is forced to call upon Chris Mcneal, from the very first Exorcist, another parent who has experienced similar paranormal encounters with her child Reagan. The horror film, directed by David Gordon Green, stars Leslie Odom Jr, Ellen Burstyn, Lidya Jewett and Ann Dowd in the lead.

Mission Ranigunj: The Great Bharat Rescue (Hindi)

When: October 6

This survival thriller based on real life rescue of 65 miners from a flooded coal mine by the engineer Late Jaswant Singh Gill. Akshay Kumar will be plays the lead role in the film directed by Tinu Suresh Desai.

Tantiram Chapter 1: Tales of Shivakashi (Telugu)

When: October 6

This supernatural thriller deals with the life of a loner, who struggles to interact with women due to a childhood trauma involving his mother. However, his life changes when he gets married only to face a crisis with a paranormal threat that can destroy his newfound peace. The film, directed by Muthyala Meher Deepak, stars Sukanya Gadavir, Srikanth Gurram and Priyanka Sharma.

Rani (Malayalam)

This thriller deals with the struggles a small-time farmer’s family has to go through to find a good life in a village plagued by cannabis mafia that is above the local law enforcement. The film stars Shivani Menon, Biju Sopanam, Maqbool Salman, Kavitha Biju and Jayan Cherthala in the lead and is directed by debutant Nizamudeen Nazar.

Rules Ranjann (Telugu)

This comedy deals with the life and love story of a man who adheres to a strict code and set of rules in his live and relationships. However, things take a wild turn when one of his obsessive rules is broken after he comes across his estranged childhood sweetheart. The film directed by Rathinam Krishna stars Kiran Abbavaram and Neha Shetty star in this film.

800 (Tamil)

When: October 6 

This unconventional biopic deals with the life and career of legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralidharan, who is played by Madhur Mittal in the lead role. The film will map Muralidharan’s illustrious career along with early days challenges, changing socio political context and civil wars and their role in shaping the legendary spinner. The film is directed by MS Sripathy and stars Mahima Nambiar, Yog Japee, Nassar in the supporting cast.

Ankush (Marathi)

This romantic adventure tells the story of a couple caught between a gang of bullies and their families. How do they navigate this tough situation and come out winning with their love for each other intact? This film directed by Nishant Dapse stars Deepraj Ghule, Ketaki Mategaonkar and Sayaji Shinde in the lead.

GTA: Guns Trance Action ( Telugu)

This gaming thriller narrates the story of a gang that goes about wrecking havoc in the city as if in a gameplay mode. The film directed by Deepak Sidhant stars Chaitanya Pasupuleti, Heena Raj, Sudharshan and Srikanth Iyengar in the lead.

Thank You for Coming (Hindi)

This comedy is about a hopeless romantic who is on the lookout for an arranged marriage after a series of unsuccessful flings. However, at a bachelorette party hosted for her friends, things change forever and alter their ideas of female agency and sexual independence. The film, directed by Karan Boolani, stars Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly SIngh and Kusha Kapila in the lead.

Raja Marthanda (Kannada)

This action film stars the late Chiranjeevi Sarja, who will be making his final on-screen performance, with his brother and actor Dhruv Sarja dubbing for him. This investigative thriller features Vijay Antony as an aloof editor of publication who is forced to come back to his old workplace when a friend gets murdered by a crazy fan. The film deals with his efforts to track the cause for the strange occurrences. Raththam directed by CS Amudhan also features Mahima Nambiar, Nandita Swetha and Ramya Nambeesan in other pivotal roles.

Month of Madhu ( Telugu)

This love story deals with the life of a couple in two timelines. The romance features Naveen Chandra and Swathi Reddy in the lead roles, and is directed by Srikanth Nagothi.

Mind Game (Odia)

This murder mystery deals with a newly married couple whose life is turned upside down when they receive an anonymous bomb in a gift box, leading to deaths in the family. The rest of the film traces the ensuing investigation into the killer behind the crime and the connections to the crime. The film directed by Rajesh Touchriver features Atul Kulkarni, Manoj Mishra and Anu Choudary.
